On Thursday, San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa appeared to mock Ryan Clark after he was fired by ESPN. Bosa, who didn't tweet in four years, posted an “OK hand” emoji when he saw The Athletic's report regarding the news.

Bosa's tweet appeared to be a response to Clark, who aimed a dig at him in 2024. At the time, Clark criticized Bosa for what he viewed as a lack of criticism surrounding the 49ers DE wearing a MAGA hat. The analyst also referred to the situation as evidence of a double standard in sports media.
