A high-rise building in Thanjavur, constructed using structural steel technology, was inaugurated by Minister for Labour Welfare and Skill Development J. Mohamed Farvas and Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare R. Vinoth on Saturday.
The new infrastructure, which has come up on Medical College Road, has around 69,000 sq. ft. of space and offers modern infrastructure facilities, with adequate parking to house around 500 IT-related business companies, with an estimated employment of approximately 4,000 professionals, according to developers.
After declaring open the building, Mr. Farvas and Mr. Vinoth went around it.
Promoted by BBS Infraspace, it is the third such facility for IT companies in Thanjavur. Already an IT park, promoted by the State government and another one by a private company, exist in Thanajvur.
