Grizzbolt is an incredible pal in Palworld 1.0, and now, he’s got a dedicated spot you can go fight and catch him at. A ferocious boss, if you aren’t prepared, and high enough level, he could easily shred your team, but we’ve uncovered his location, so you don’t have to stress looking for this amazing Electric-type pal.

So gather up your Pal Spheres, Ground-type pals, and get ready to fight a boss pal! Here’s what you need to know about uncovering Grizzbolt in Palworld 1.0, and what he brings to your base and team.

You can find Grizzbolt in Palworld 1.0, on the Wildlife Sanctuary south of the starting area (56, -697). As one of the new bosses, he’s certainly going to be a challenge at level 30. You’re either going to need a flying type that you can ride, or a ton of stamina, because the island is quite a ways out there, as you can see in the image below.

The image above also has the cave entrance in the Wildlife Sanctuary, so you know what to look for. Once inside, you can do battle with a level 30 Grizzbolt, so I recommend bringing at least a stack of Hyper Spheres, at the very least. You can catch it with weaker, but the better the Sphere, the better your odds.

You’ll want to watch out for its lightning bolt attack, where it blasts a spot on the ground, and its electric-charged melee attacks. However, if you show up at nighttime, you’ll find that Grizzbolt is asleep.

With that in mind, you should try at night, with Hyper or better Spheres, and a Ring of Mercy (your attacks won’t reduce it beyond 1 HP), just in case your attempt to catch it fails. If you can get behind it, and have a Wispaw in your party, you’ll get a bonus to catching them from behind.

Grizzbolt in Palworld 1.0 has the awesome Yellow Tank Partner Skill, which allows it to be ridden, and while you’re riding this pal, you can open fire on targets with an incredibly powerful minigun. This makes it one of the coolest pals right out of the gate. It also has decent work passives, though the best one is Generating Electricity:

While Grizzbolt doesn’t come with any innate Passive Skills, he’s loaded for bear with incredible Lightning Skills. If you’re hunting Water-type Pals, this is the friend you want with you in the early-to-mid game.

Finally, if you want to ride Grizzbolt, you need at least level 40, and to have unlocked "Grizzbolt's Minigun" technology (4 points). You also need the following materials:
