Palworld 1.0 update is out and a lot of players are enjoying every new thing added to the game along with the tweaks that improved the gameplay experience. There are a lot of things that you can do and a ton of new items to collect.
One of these items is the Nightstar Sand and while it might seem like a challenging task to collect a decent chunk of it, you can do it quickly and easily if you know the right method.
This article will feature where and how you can find Nightstar Sand in Palworld and everything you need to know before starting the collection process. The time of the day, the tools needed, and the Pals that you must keep along with you during the process is very important. We have included all this information so that you have an effortless experience. All you need to do is follow along.
Nightstar Sand is an exclusive resource that’s tied to the Feybreak update. It spawns mostly across the massive sandy coastlines, desert environments, and dunes of Feybreak Island. The catch that trips up most players is that the resource is completely invisible during the day.
To find it, you must wait until the sun sets. Once it's night time, look closely at the light-colored sand banks along the beaches and dunes. The material has a glowing, luminescent appearance on the ground that contrasts against the relatively darker sand around it.
The absolute best areas to map out your farming routes are located on the northern and eastern stretches of Feybreak Island. The Scorched Ashland on the northeastern coast features wide, open sandy spaces packed with this material.
Another fantastic zone is the Withered Seaside along the eastern edge of the landmass. Because the nodes tend to cluster heavily right next to the water, you can simply follow the shorelines of these beach zones at night to collect massive amounts of the material without needing to blindly search for it.
Farming Nightstar Sand efficiently comes down to speed and minimizing any Pals around you that might want to attack you. Because you are strictly limited to the duration of the in-game night cycle, you need to maximize your ground coverage before dawn forces the nodes to vanish.
The most effective strategy in Palworld is to hop onto a fast ground mount or a high-speed flyer (like Jetragon) right at nightfall. Do not bring a pickaxe or heavy tools as gathering Nightstar Sand requires no equipment. Simply sprint or fly directly over the glowing yellow patches and interact with them to scoop the sand directly into your inventory.
To make things even more efficient and faster, establish a fast-travel routine. Start at a Teleport Statue near a Feybreak beach, sweep the coastline in one direction to collect 30 to 50 pieces, and then fast-travel to a different sandy biome on the island to repeat the process.
Wild Pals in these regions can be quite high level, so it is highly recommended to bring strong defensive Pals to handle any aggressive Pals that attack you while you are gathering.
Also, keep in mind that most wild Pals sleep at night, allowing a nimble player to easily sweep past them. Once an entire coastline is cleared, the nodes will repopulate over the next night cycle, which means that you can quickly gather a decent chunk of this item.
