Building a base in Palworld is tied to your overall progression. The only limiting factor is the build radius of the base itself. Since you have a limited base area, there's only a handful of ways you can increase the size of your base in the game.

In this guide, we will break down how to increase your base size in Palworld.

While you can't directly increase the size of your base by upgrading the Palbox, you can acquire the option to craft more than one Palbox. This gives you an option to craft more than one base. But if you want to increase the size of your base, here are some ways you can do it:

One of the ways you can indirectly expand the size of your base is by placing multiple Palboxes in close vicinity (at a distance of 4 or 5 foundation). Once you have unlocked all three bases, you can place them in a triangular position to simulate the structure of a large base.

While you can craft structures outside the blue margin, hostile Pals can break them, so plan accordingly. To prevent your buildings from collapsing, turn off the Building Decay option from base settings.

The vertical build limit of any base in Palworld is 250 walls, so you can easily make a massive vertical base. This is a good way to make a tall base but it might hinder the overall performance of your game.

While there was a mod that could override the vanilla base size (Teh Extra Base Area by xTeh), currently it doesn't support Palworld 1.0. But you can use the Increased base amount and worker pals mod by Vuxacha, which allows you to build around 100 bases in the game.

But if you are uncomfortable with using mods, then the above-mentioned options are the only ways to build large bases in Palworld
