Amidst his long-term hiatus from AEW, an announcement has just been made regarding Wardlow's next blockbuster appearance. Fans will get to catch him at a major event soon.

Mr. Mayhem has not been seen in the promotion in almost a year. After going on long-term absences across 2024, he finally made his on-screen return at Forbidden Door last year. Unfortunately, he would sustain another major injury, putting him on the shelf once more.

Pro Wrestling Tees has just announced their final guest lineup for their booth at this year's New York Comic Con. This includes AEW stars Orange Cassidy, Megan Bayne, and Wardlow along with wrestling legends Tommy Dreamer and The Rock N'Roll Express. The former TNT Champion has reposted the announcement on his Instagram Story.

Mr. Mayhem's return to the company was done in an angle that revealed him to be the newest member of the Don Callis Family. He also appeared a few days later on Dynamite, accompanying his new faction. But due to his injury, this angle has yet to be continued, and it is unclear if he is still considered a member of the faction.

His last match on TV was back in March 2024, and he has not competed in any way since. Last month, a fan took to Instagram to say how much they looked forward to his return. Wardlow reposted it and mentioned how he could not wait for this either.

The 6-foot-3 powerhouse may not have been on TV in almost a year, but it was reported that he was backstage for AEW Double or Nothing a couple of months ago. It is still unclear, however, how near he is to making a return to the ring, as the updates on his situation are scarce.

The landscape of the company has completely changed since he was last active, and it will be interesting to see how he slots into all of this. One potential angle is him coming back to go on a major run with the Don Callis Family.
