A popular WWE Superstar expressed her desire to go after a singles title before hanging up her wrestling boots. She believes that it would be the right way to end her career.

The aforementioned star is former WWE Divas Champion Brie Bella. The 42-year-old returned to the Stamford-based promotion earlier this year to compete in the Women's Royal Rumble Match. She soon reunited with her twin sister Nikki Bella to go after the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

Unfortunately, Nikki Bella was forced out of action due to injury ahead of their four-way title match at WrestleMania 42. In a surprising turn of events, Paige returned to the global juggernaut and joined forces with Brie Bella. The duo put forth an impressive performance to secure the win and become the new champions.

However, during a recent interview with The Sal Licata Show, Brie Bella was asked about a potential singles run before her retirement. The veteran stated that she would love that. Bella opened up about her alliance with Paige before noting that she would love to have a singles run and go after any title before hanging up her wrestling boots.

Brie Bella and Paige wrestled their first match as a tag team after almost a month at the most recent edition of Saturday Night's Main Event. The duo put the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship on the line against Fatal Influence's Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid.

The two teams opened the show at Madison Square Garden. The bout concluded in a little over seven minutes after interference from Jacy Jayne allowed Lainey Reid to roll up Paige for the pinfall victory. It also marked the heel faction's first title win on the main roster.

It will be interesting to see if Paige and Brie Bella get an opportunity to win back the gold in coming weeks.
