The Indian Institute of Technology-Madras (IIT-M), which is the organising institution for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027, has announced the schedule of exams, syllabus revision, and introduction of new papers for next year’s examination.

The application portal for registration is likely to be opened in mid-August, a press release said. The examinations will be conducted on February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, in both morning and afternoon sessions on each of the days.

A new paper on robotics and automation (RA) will be introduced at the exam, and the paper on textile engineering and fibre science (TF) has been converted as a sectional paper in engineering science (XE). Online registration will be through DigiLocker along with facial registration. More details are available on https://gate2027.iitm.ac.in.
