Fauzi is one of the most anticipated films of 2026. However, even before it’s release, the Prabhas-starrer has created a buzz, not just because of the starry cast. According to a Money Control report, the film's reported budget has now emerged as the latest subject of discussion. According to industry reports, the makers are investing around Rs 600 crore in the ambitious project, placing it among the costliest films ever mounted in the history of Telugu cinema. However, the figure remains unconfirmed by the filmmakers.

Prabhas on Wednesday revealed an intense new poster from Fauzi while announcing that the film is scheduled for a grand theatrical release across the globe on December 3, 2026.

The actor shared the artwork on his official social media handles with the caption, “अज्ञातपर्व ENDS. Fauzi on 3rd DEC 2026.” The update generated widespread excitement among fans, who flooded the comments section with praise for Prabhas' rugged appearance and the film's grand visual presentation.

The latest poster presents Prabhas in a fierce and battle-worn look. Covered in blood, he is seen seated atop a rocky surface, gripping a firearm as multiple fallen soldiers lie scattered around him. Featuring the tagline, “A Battalion Who Fights Alone,” the artwork hints at a high-octane war epic driven by themes of courage, resistance, and self-sacrifice.

Helmed by director Hanu Raghavapudi, Fauzi is believed to unfold during the years leading up to India's Independence. The period drama is expected to blend historical events with patriotism, romance, and large-scale action, with Prabhas portraying a man whose life becomes deeply entwined with the country's struggle during a volatile era.

Imanvi stars opposite Prabhas as the female lead. The supporting cast also includes veteran performers Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada, further strengthening the film's ensemble lineup.
