Team India keeper-batter Ishan Kishan starred with a scintillating half-century as the Men in Blue beat Zimbabwe by 90 runs at Harare Sports Club on Saturday, July 25. With the victory, the visitors also took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. The third T20I will be played on Sunday.
Sent into bat by Zimbabwe, India put up 219-5 on the board in their 20 overs. Openers Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Abhishek Sharma perished inside the powerplay. However, Kishan struck a brilliant 81 off just 44 balls, slamming nine fours and two sixes. He added 94 runs in 43 balls for the fourth wicket with Tilak Varma (60* off 29).
