Despite winning UFC titles in both the featherweight and lightweight divisions, Ilia Topuria has been labeled an overrated fighter by one of Islam Makhachev's teammates.

Magomed Zaynukov, popularly known as 'Chanco', is set to make his UFC debut this weekend in Abu Dhabi. The 31-year-old earned his shot in the promotion with an impressive unanimous decision victory over Lucas Caldas at the 2025 Dana White's Contender Series.

During an interview with Red Corner MMA ahead of the event, he took part in a rapid-fire game featuring questions about UFC fighters. When asked to name the most overrated fighter, 'Chanco' unapologetically replied:

He then named himself as the most underrated fighter and the most dangerous striker. For the smartest fighter and the best wrestler, he picked Makhachev, while naming Jon Jones as the greatest MMA striker.

Zaynukov is undefeated at 8-0 in his professional MMA career. Interestingly, he first caught the attention of MMA fans after getting into an altercation with Dillon Danis at UFC 322, an incident that ultimately led to 'El Jefe's' ban from future UFC events.

The fighter also became the subject of a popular internet meme after fans misheard Makhachev pronouncing his name 'Chanco' as 'John Pork'. At UFC Abu Dhabi, Zaynukov will face Damian Rzepecki on the main card of the event.

Magomed Zaynukov is convinced Islam Makhachev will neutralize Ian Garry's usual tactics when they meet at UFC 330. Zaynukov also stated that Garry's height will not amount to much in the fight.

During the aforementioned interview, Zaynukov claimed that Garry would not be able to utilize his trademark high kicks and oblique kicks as effectively once Makhachev got a hold of him:
