Dricus du Plessis believes writing off Conor McGregor ahead of his comeback fight against Max Holloway at UFC 329 would be a mistake.
McGregor returns to the octagon for the first time in five years when he faces Max Holloway in a welterweight rematch nearly 13 years after their first meeting. Tom Aspinall has also thrown his support behind Conor McGregor ahead of his UFC 329 clash against Max Holloway.
The UFC heavyweight champion admitted Holloway's activity gives him a significant advantage heading into the contest, but believes McGregor's trademark left hand remains the ultimate equalizer. Aspinall said McGregor appears to be in a much better place mentally after watching his recent interviews and believes the former two-division champion looks focused ahead of his return.
