A former WWE Superstar who has served the 90-day non-compete clause is now free. The name the Stamford-based promotion gave her remains with the company, and she will go on to compete with her real last name, Serrano.

With a post on X, Zoey Stark (now Zoey Serrano) broke the silence on her indie professional wrestling landscape. Zoey made her intentions clear, saying that she will be coming for everything she desires and that it's her showtime now.

The former RAW star will now be stepping back into the squared circle just this week on Revolution Pro Wrestling's Women’s Grand Prix in Wolverhampton, England. Future Stars of Wrestling have also announced Zoey for their Survival of the Fittest event on August 22 at the Luxor in Las Vegas.

Serrano’s five-year tenure with WWE began in 2021. While in the promotion, she captured her only title, the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship, with Iyo Sky. Then she was a mid-carder on the main roster from 2023 until May 2025. Although in a Money in the Bank qualifying match on RAW, a bad landing off a missile dropkick resulted in a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus.

Following a lengthy hiatus, she was released this past April during roster cuts. Stars like Aleister Black, Santos Escobar, the Motor City Machine Guns, and the Wyatt Sicks, among others, were also let go.

Former WWE Superstar Zelina Vega is gearing up for her next big move as her free agency starts. She was also released in April alongside her real-life husband, Aleister Black. Signaling a fresh start, Vega recently trademarked 'Xelina'. She seemingly confirmed it as her new ring name in a thumbnail for a newly posted YouTube video.

During her second WWE stint, Vega achieved notable success, defeating Chelsea Green to become the second Women's United States Champion. Before her departure, she also managed her husband Aleister following his Last Man Standing victory over Damian Priest.
