Justin Bieber has joined global stars Shakira, Madonna and BTS as co-headliners for the FIFA World Cup final Halftime Show to be held on July 19 at the New York New Jersey Stadium, football’s governing body announced on Wednesday.

Coldplay’s Chris Martin is curating the show, which will also feature Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel and PS 22 Chorus. The show is a first for a football World Cup final.

Amidst concerns about how long half-time will be, FIFA announced that the performance will be 11 minutes long.

The performance will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative aiming to raise USD 100 million to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide.

“The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can. I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it’s already helping expand access to education for children around the world,” said Justin Bieber.

Meanwhile, characters from Sesame Street and The Muppets will also be part of the show.
