Television actress Saanvi Talwar is currently making headlines as she has once again spoken about one of the most talked-about controversies from her career, allegations against her former co-star Karan Kundrra. In a recent interaction, Saanvi recalled her experience while shooting for Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, alleging that she felt uncomfortable on set and eventually sought help from Karan's then-girlfriend, Anusha Dandekar. Karan Kundrra has not publicly responded to these allegations at the time of writing.

Saanvi says Karan was interested in her

Speaking to Telly Masala, Saanvi addressed long-standing speculation about her equation with Karan. According to the actress, it was Karan who had shown interest in her, not the other way around.

She also claimed that she preferred keeping to herself on the sets, which she alleged did not go down well with Karan and the show's director.

Saanvi approached Anusha Dandekar for help
Saanvi alleged that some scenes during the shoot left her feeling uncomfortable. She specifically mentioned a bathroom sequence that she found difficult to perform.

Instead of remaining silent, the actress claimed she spoke to Karan Kundrra's then-girlfriend, Anusha Dandekar, about how she was feeling on the sets.

According to Saanvi, Anusha took her concerns seriously. The actress claimed that "After this, Anusha started coming to the set and keeping an eye on things herself."

Karan Kundrra co-star recalls alleged kissing scene incident

Saanvi also revisited an alleged incident that had made headlines years ago.

According to her, the incident took place while filming a kissing scene. She alleged that Karan kissed her before the director had called for the shot, something she believed was inappropriate because the scene had not officially begun.

Saanvi claimed, "I was very depressed. Then one day we had a kissing scene between Karan and me, and Karan kissed me before the director's cue. So, that was a wrong move, wasn't it? When the director didn't say anything like 'we have to do it now,' how did you do that? So, I slapped him (Karan)."

The actress further alleged that Karan walked away after the incident but returned around 10 to 15 minutes later.

"He slapped me so hard in front of everyone. A girl's hand... a boy's hand is much heavier than a girl's hand. And he slapped me so hard that I fell to the ground, and there wasn't a single person there... not from the crew, not from the direction team, not a single person supported me in any way."

'I thought I didn't want to work anymore'

Recalling the aftermath, Saanvi said the incident had a deep emotional impact on her. She alleged that Karan verbally "abused both her and her parents" before she left the set and drove home. According to the actress, she was so shaken by what had happened that she considered leaving the entertainment industry altogether.

Saanvi said the experience left her feeling depressed and emotionally exhausted.

    Claims Ekta Kapoor later apologised

Saanvi also claimed that producer Ekta Kapoor later reached out to her following the alleged incident. According to the actress, Ekta first sent her a message apologising on Karan Kundrra's behalf before inviting her for a one-on-one meeting. Saanvi said she has great respect for the producer and claimed Ekta assured her that her concerns would be addressed while also ensuring the television show continued.

Saanvi Talwar's latest interview has once again brought the alleged incident back into the spotlight. The actress has spoken about the matter in previous interviews as well, but her recent remarks have renewed public discussion.

Karan Kundrra has not issued a public response to Saanvi Talwar's allegations. His fiancée, actor Tejasswi Prakash, has also not commented on the claims. He was last seen in Desi Bling on Netflix, where the actor proposed Tejasswi.
