Karnataka Bank on Wednesday, announced the appointment of Biji Sreekrishnavilas Sankaranarayanan as its Executive Director.

A release here said Ms. Sankaranarayanan is a Strategic Banking Leader with 31 years of end-to-end experience in the South Indian Bank Ltd., across corporate banking, retail & branch banking, liabilities, secured assets, transformation and digital modernisation. Before joining the Karnataka Bank, she was the Chief General Manager with the South Indian Bank.

Ms. Sankaranarayanan has a proven track-record in steering nationwide banking networks as independent profit centres, scaling corporate banking verticals, strengthening risk frameworks, improving asset quality, enhancing customer acquisition models and architecting digital and operational turnaround journeys.
