Goalkeeper Khiara Keating has moved from Manchester City to Liverpool, a statement from Man City revealed on Monday.
The 22-year-old has moved to the Merseyside club permanently after the expiry of her City contract. She reunites with coach Gareth Taylor, with the pair having worked together at Man City previously.
Keating joined the City in 2015 and rose through the youth programmes. She made her senior debut in a 5-0 League Cup win over Leicester in January 2022.
Keating made eight appearances across the 2021/22 and 2022/23 campaign while also gaining valuable senior experience during loan spells at AFC Fylde and Coventry United.
But her real breakthrough came in 2023/24, when she featured 29 times and claimed 12 clean sheets in all competitions.
"It's such a big club and I think the women's team is striving for greatness. They're just going in the right direction and it's a project that I want to be part of."

She ended the campaign with nine clean sheets to take home the prestigious WSL Golden Glove award, conceding just 15 times in 22 appearances.
Her performances then earned international recognition, and she was a member of the England squad that retained their status as European champions in the summer of 2025.
She’d make her senior Lionesses debut in October of that year against Brazil, starting between the sticks at the Etihad Stadium.
Keating amassed 65 appearances for Andrée Jeglertz’s side across her City career, with her last in a dramatic 3-2 FA Cup semi-final success over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
During her time at the Club, she also helped us claim three major honours – including the Women’s Super League and FA Cup double in 2025/26.
“The start of my career has been nothing but amazing. I’ve gained platforms and done brilliantly so far. But I needed that missing (piece of the)puzzle,” she added.
“And I think Liverpool can be that – where I’m playing week in, week out and I’m getting good game time, playing with a good team and winning trophies.”
Keating will wear the No.12 shirt.
