Kuldeep Yadav made an all-round contribution for Yorkshire on Sunday as the side thumped Sussex by 184 runs in the One-Day Cup, England’s domestic List A tournament.
Kuldeep first struck an unbeaten 22-run cameo off just 12 balls, which included three fours and one six. This got Yorkshire to swell its total to 325 for seven. William Luxton was the highest scorer, notching up 117 runs off 115 balls.
The Indian then turned up with his left-arm unorthodox to get the wickets of Toby Munt and Sean Hunt, both tailenders.
He finished the innings with two for 58 from 6.5 overs. He had picked two wickets in the last match as well.
Elsewhere, Yuzvendra Chahal returned figures of one for 35 from 10 overs as Northamptonshire lost to Surrey by six wickets.
The third Indian in the tournament, Ashutosh Sharma, also had to taste defeat with Hampshire, against Worcestershire. Ashutosh had an ideal scenario in front of him, walking out to bat at 98 for three with his team needing 308 to win.
However, Ashutosh was nabbed on 11 off 14 and hit just one six. Hampshire eventually lost by four runs.
