Brexton Busch has added another win to his growing list of accomplishments. The 11-year-old son of late NASCAR Cup champion Kyle Busch won the Restrictor Micro A-Feature at Port City Raceway on Friday, July 17.

Brexton started racing at a young age and has become one of the busiest youth drivers in the country. His schedule includes Micro Sprints, Junior Sprint Cars, Legend Cars and other dirt racing events.

His latest success came at Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Racing in the Restrictor Micro division, Brexton started 14th and charged through the field to score his first A-main win, first since his father Kyle Busch's death in May. Busch died suddenly at the age of 41 after being hospitalized with severe pneumonia that progressed into sepsis.

Brexton dedicated the win to his father and celebrated with his signature bow, holding the checkered flag. He wrote on X:

Meanwhile, Kyle Busch was honored at North Wilkesboro Speedway as NASCAR returned to the short track for its first Cup Series points race at the historic venue in 30 years.

Kyle Busch competed in four Truck races before his sudden death in May 2026. His final and 69th Truck Series win at Dover Motor Speedway came less than a week before he died. Earlier in the season, he won at EchoPark Speedway and raced at Bristol Motor Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway.

But he had planned to race eight NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races in 2026 after NASCAR raised the race limit for experienced full-time Cup Series drivers from five to eight. Spire Motorsports announced his full schedule before the season started. The FaithFest 250 at North Wilkesboro Speedway was set to be Busch's second last Truck Series race of the year.

North Wilkesboro Speedway honored Busch with memorial decals of his No. 8 and the late Greg Biffle, who died in a tragic plane crash in December 2025. The decals were placed on the outside wall on the frontstretch at the 0.625-mile oval.

Chase Elliott will replace Busch in the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet this Saturday. This will be Elliott's first NASCAR Truck Series start in about three years.
