LA Knight straight up admitted that he is paranoid ahead of WWE SummerSlam 2026, but from his point of view, he was very justified in feeling that way, as he feels he has been right all along.
In a backstage interview on WWE RAW before SummerSlam 2026, Jackie Redmond managed to get a hold of LA Knight. The Megastar has been in a bit of a precarious position since WrestleMania 42, as he appears to be stuck in The Bloodline vortex again. It triggered a wound from 2+ years ago, dating back to November 2023, when Knight challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship, only to fall short due to The Bloodline's interference. This was the typical Bloodline playbook, and although Knight hasn't crossed paths with Roman Reigns this year, he is in the thick of a rivalry with the group. Despite teaming up with The Usos at WrestleMania, he will now be going against them at SummerSlam as he teams up with Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys to face three members of The Bloodline - Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Jacob Fatu.
In another epic promo, LA Knight went off on a bit of a tangent, where he admitted to Jackie Redmond that he was paranoid, but justifiably so, as he was right about The Bloodline all along. He was quite pumped about the prospect of facing them at SummerSlam 2026. He vowed to BFT them six feet into the ground, and used his iconic catchphrase, "That's just a fact of life."
It's going to be interesting to see how things play out at SummerSlam 2026. One has to think that if Knight picks up the win, he might finally be next in line to face Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.
That would certainly make sense, but many fans feel that much of LA Knight's career trajectory in WWE makes little sense considering his talent.
