The Bar Association of Mahendragarh suspended work on Friday against the alleged highhandedness of the local administrative and police officials.

Expressing solidarity with the lawyers of Mahendragarh, the Bar Association of Narnaul also suspended work at the district courts, Deputy Commissioner's Court, SDM's Court and Revenue Courts today.

The litigants visiting the local courts, especially those coming from far-off places, had to face inconvenience due to the suspension of work by the lawyers.

As per sources, normal functioning of the lawyers is likely to resume with effect from Monday.
