Love in Sync is heading to its final week after episodes 5 and 6. Episode 7 of the fantasy rom-com K-drama series will air on the Lifetime network on Saturday, July 25, at 22:50 KST, and episode 8 (finale) will air on Sunday, July 26, at the same time.
Love in Sync follows the story of an actress named Yoo Ji-an, who is struggling in her career because of her inability to display emotions, and a psychological counselor named Cha Eun-hwan, who absorbs his patients' emotions in the process of treating them.
In episodes 5 and 6 of Love in Sync, viewers get more insights into the childhoods of both Ji-an and Eun-hwan, which helps them better understand their character flaws as adults. Since Eun-hwan's family has already appeared on-screen, Ji-an's mother might also make an appearance in the season finale.
Viewers can also expect to learn the mystery behind how Ji-an could've known Eun-hwan's father, after a familiarity was hinted at in the previous episodes.
In the last two episodes, Eun-hwan's determination to help clear up the controversy that has damaged Ji-an's reputation has been apparent. Viewers are expected to learn whether or not the psychologist has been successful in doing so.
Mi Jeong, who is a key figure in starting the controversy by posting Ji-an's allegedly bullying video online, has also remained underground in the last four episodes. Since her presence is essential in reinstating Ji-an's reputation, Eun-hwan will likely find her out in the coming episodes.
Episodes from last weekend also featured intimate moments between Ji-an and Eun-hwan, as the couple kissed to reverse their emotional transference. In the finale, viewers can expect to see either one of the two confessing their feelings for the other before the series comes to an end.
Episodes 5 and 6 of Love in Sync aired last weekend - on July 18 and 19. In episode 5, Eun-hwan signs a contract to be Ji-an's manager for the next three months, keeping it a secret from his family.
As he prepares Ji-an for her upcoming roles, the two share a kiss to figure out how their emotional transference works. Eun-hwan also shares the tragedy from his childhood with her.
Amid navigating professional challenges, Ji-an often spends time with Ha Yul - Song Hwan's daughter - even pretending to be her mother at one point.
In episode 6, Ji-an revisits Director Moon with Eun-hwan and is selected for a supporting role in his project. The news about Ha Yul's injury results in both of them rushing to the hospital, where Song Hwan lashes out at her. Meanwhile, as Eun-hwan digs deeper to clear the controversy surrounding Ji-an, a new social media post surfaces, making matters worse.
Viewers can watch the Love in Sync episodes 7 and 8 on the Lifetime Korea network at the scheduled broadcast time, and on LG U+tv Mobile and Viu shortly afterwards.
