WWE Lyra Valkyria delivered a strong message following her match against Bayley at Saturday Night's Main Event. The Irish star seemingly hinted at her future plans.

The 29-year-old attacked Bayley to turn heel on the June 22 edition of Monday Night RAW moments after the duo failed to defeat Paige and Brie Bella in a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match. The two stars traded blows in what turned out to be a brutal contest at the iconic Madison Square Garden last Saturday. Valkyria won the match via submission in the end.

Earlier today, WWE posted a video of Lyra Valkyria speaking into the camera after her win at Saturday Night's Main Event. The inaugural WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion was all smiles and claimed that she never needed Bayley and Becky Lynch by her side.

Valkyria further hinted that her rivalry with The Role Model was over by stating that she was headed straight to the top. It could be her way of declaring that she was going after a singles title soon.

Lyra Valkyria tried to justify her actions of attacking Bayley in a video that aired on the June 2 edition of Monday Night RAW.

The former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion noted that although she wasn't proud of what she did, she wasn't bothered about it either. Valkyria further explained why she attacked Bayley even though she never wanted to hurt her.
