The State Government has prepared a comprehensive Master Plan with the ambitious objective of transforming Mysuru into a prosperous, self-reliant, modern, sustainable and world-class city suited for future generations.

    A review meeting on the implementation and progress of the major projects proposed under the Master Plan was held at the Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru on Friday. Urban Development Minister Yathindra Siddaramaiah chaired the meeting.

    The meeting discussed taking the Master Plan forward by focusing on five key sectors—industry, skilled workforce, livability, tourism and mobility—to ensure the city’s planned and balanced development.

    Additional Chief Secretary Gaurav Gupta, Urban Development Department Secretary B.B. Kaveri and other senior government officials attended the meeting.
