Green Bay Packers linebacker Micah Parsons didn’t hold back when reacting to Jordan Love’s placement on the 2026 NFL Top 100 Players. The Packers quarterback landed at No. 72 on the list on Saturday, a slight drop from the previous year, when he ranked as No. 68.

Parsons took to social media to publicly criticize Love’s position in the annual ranking, which is done by fellow NFL players. The All-Pro edge rusher, known for his outspoken nature, believes it's not an accurate reflection of where the quarterback actually ranks in the league.

“71 players in the NFL aren't better than Jordan,” Parsons wrote on X.

Jordan Love completed the 2025 season with 3,381 yards and 23 touchdowns against just six interceptions. He boasted a 66.3% completion rate while posting a passer rating of 101.2, as the Packers finished the regular season with a 9-7-1 record, reaching the Wild Card round.

Parsons wasn't the only one critical of Love's ranking on the list; many across the NFL world share the sentiment. Neutral observers viewed it as undervaluing his growth since taking over Aaron Rodgers. They pointed to his stronger statistical output as well as the intangibles.

The NFL Top 100 list often sparks debate among players, who are responsible for the compilation, as well as the fans, analysts and media alike. Micah Parsons’ criticism of Jordan Love's ranking further highlights the series of disagreements that come with the annual list.

In an offseason survey conducted by ESPN among coaches, scouts and executives across the league, Micah Parsons was rightfully named among the best edge rushers in the NFL. He was named the No. 2 player in the position, behind the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Myles Garrett.

The coaches, scouts, and executives who took part in the survey ranked Parsons and Garrett in a league of their own.

With the hype around him still flying high, Micah Parsons faces uncertainties as he enters his second season with the Packers. He is expected to miss a significant part of the 2026 season as he recovers from the ACL tear he suffered in Week 15 of last season.
