Transport Minister A. Vijay Tamilan Parthiban and Dairy Development Minister C. Vijayalakshmi inaugurated completed projects in Salem and Namakkal districts, respectively, on Tuesday (July 21, 2026).
In the function held at Kumarapalayam in Namakkal district, Ms. Vijayalakshmi inaugurated projects worth ₹1.08 crore, laid a foundation stone for constructing an overhead water tank with one lakh litre capacity, and the expand pipelines at Kaliyanur panchayat at ₹42 lakh. The Minister also distributed welfare assistance worth ₹1.73 crore for 347 beneficiaries. Namakkal District Collector L. Madhubalan and officials participated.
Likewise, in a function held in Salem district, Mr. Parthiban inaugurated 15 completed projects worth ₹7.45 crore at Vazhapadi, Ayothiyapattinam, Pethanaickenpalayam and Yercaud panchayat unions. District Collector K. Elambahavath and officials from departments concerned participated.
