Moonton Games is coming back with the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Mid Season Cup 2026 (MSC 2026). The second international in-season major MLBB tournament was announced as part of the Esports World Cup earlier this year (January 2026). It was initially scheduled to occur in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. However, on May 20, 2026, it was eventually moved to Paris, France. This will be the first time the tournament has ventured outside Asia.

15 teams have qualified for the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Mid Season Cup this year from their respective regional competitions. Moonton Games also held a Wildcard tournament, with the winner earning its place in the Group Stage of the event. So, a total of 16 teams will be competing in this edition of the tournament.

The Group Stage of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang MSC 2026 begins on July 22, 2026, and it ends on July 26, 2026. The 16 teams will be divided into two groups of eight teams each. This stage will have two double-elimination brackets, allowing four teams from each group to advance to the knockout phase. All matches in the Group Stage will be played in a best-of-three format.

The Wild Cards competition of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Mid Season Cup 2026 recently ended, and the Group Stage games will begin on July 22, 2026.

The winners of these four matches from each group will advance to the upper brackets of the Group Stage. These four victors from each group will play each other in the upper brackets' round-one matches, and the two winners will advance to the knockout rounds.

The losers of the first four games from each group will face each other in the lower brackets' round-one matches. The four winners of these games will then face the losers of the upper brackets' round-one matches in the lower brackets' round-two. The winners of the lower brackets' round-two games will then advance to the knockout rounds. This means a total of eight teams will go to the knockouts.

As mentioned previously, the Group Stage Games will kick off at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in France. The Group Stage will begin on July 22, 2026, and will run until July 26, 2026. After that, the knockout stage of the Mid Season Cup 2026 will begin on July 29, 2026, and end on August 1, 2026, with the Grand Final.
