Team India bowling coach Morne Morkel has asserted that there are no concerns over Rohit Sharma's form despite his struggles in the first two ODIs against England. Morkel pointed out that batting at the top of the order in England is not easy, but added that Rohit has the experience to deal with the challenge.

There will be plenty of limelight on Rohit when he walks out to bat at Lord's in the third and final ODI of the series against England on Sunday, July 19. The 39-year-old was dismissed for 11 off 21 in the first ODI in Birmingham and followed it up with 26 off 47 in the second match in Cardiff.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Morkel threw his weight behind the under-fire Indian opener and said (via Cricbuzz):

Late on Friday, the BCCI dismissed speculation around the Lord's ODI being Rohit's last match in Indian colors.

The slope at Lord's is always a topic of interesting discussion ahead of any important match at the iconic venue. Sharing his views on the same, Morkel urged the Indian batters to give themselves a few deliveries to adjust to the slope. The 41-year-old said (via the aforementioned source):

India will be without the services of all-rounder Washington Sundar for the third ODI. He has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury, while Harsh Dubey has been named as his replacement.
