The mythological fantasy action-adventure Nagabandham is set to begin its digital journey after a short run in theatres. Starring Virat Karrna, Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon, the Telugu film hit cinemas on July 3, 2026, but struggled to attract audiences despite being mounted on a reported budget of Rs. 110 crore. Following its theatrical performance, the makers have now locked its OTT premiere.

    Streaming details of Nagabandham

Nagabandham will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from July 24, 2026. The film will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, while the makers are yet to announce a release date for the Hindi version. Interestingly, the movie is arriving on OTT just 21 days after its theatrical release.

Directed by Abhishek Nama, Nagabandham opened with high expectations as it blended mythology, fantasy and action on a grand scale. The film featured elaborate visual effects, large-scale action sequences and a story inspired by ancient Indian legends. However, it could not turn the vision into box office success.

According to trade tracking website Sacnilk.com, Nagabandham has earned an estimated Rs. 18.42 crore India net after 10 days. Its India gross collection stands at Rs. 21.20 crore, while the film has collected Rs. 1.78 crore overseas. This takes its worldwide gross collection to Rs. 22.98 crore so far.

The film's quick arrival on OTT comes after its underwhelming theatrical performance, giving viewers another opportunity to experience the fantasy adventure from home.

    More about Nagabandham

Virat Karrna, Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon lead the film, while Jagapathi Babu, Mahesh Manjrekar, Murali Sharma, Daksha Nagarkar and Rishabh Sawhney play important supporting roles.

The project has been directed by Abhishek Nama and produced by Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Nagireddy under the banners of NIK Studios and Abhishek Pictures.

The technical team includes cinematographer Soundar Rajan, while Junaid Kumar and Abhe have composed the music. The action sequences have been choreographed by Vlad Rimburg, and the film features extensive visual effects created by multiple leading VFX studios.

Nagabandham draws inspiration from Indian mythology and revolves around the ancient Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple, one of the country's most revered temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu. At the heart of the story is the legendary Brahma Kamalam, a mystical relic believed to possess extraordinary divine powers.

As long-hidden secrets begin to surface, an evil force sets out to claim the sacred treasure for its own purpose. To stop the growing threat, a deity joins forces with a powerful Naga Sadhu. Together, they face dangerous enemies in a battle that decides the fate of the ancient relic.

While Nagabandham could not make a significant impact at the box office, digital platforms have often given films a fresh chance to connect with audiences. Stay tuned for more updates!
