The Income Tax Department augmented its residential infrastructure in coastal Andhra Pradesh by inaugurating a new housing complex, Sagar Sameram, at Sagar Nagar, Yendada, on Monday.

    The inauguration event marked the formal opening of five Type-V quarters and eight Type-IV residential units designed to bolster employee welfare.

    Suresh Battini, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (AP&TG), Hyderabad, led the formal ribbon-cutting ceremony.

    Senior revenue officials attended the event, including Srinivas Danda, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Visakhapatnam; Sunita Billa, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Hyderabad; Botta Srinivas, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Visakhapatnam; and Sarish Irukulla, Commissioner of Income Tax (Admin & TPS), AP&TG, Hyderabad.

    Speaking at the event, Mr. Suresh Battini emphasised that the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana region have consistently maintained infrastructure development and staff welfare as top administrative priorities. He noted that the newly added residential units in Visakhapatnam will significantly augment existing infrastructure, strength and uplift the living standards of the local Income Tax community.
