The Minnesota Vikings missed the postseason last year after posting an underwhelming 9-8 record despite finishing the regular season on a five-game winning streak.
The Vikings added former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray this offseason to strengthen the quarterback room. Murray is expected to compete for the starting role with J.J. McCarthy, who failed to create chances for his wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
