The trio took the stage during the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe, where Matthew and Brady were making their tournament debuts alongside Boldy. Earlier in the week, they also won the tournament's karaoke competition after performing together.
Former NHL forward Joe Pavelski returned to defend his title, while TJ Oshie was among the other hockey players at the event. The tournament featured nearly 90 athletes and celebrities from July 10-12.
The karaoke performance wasn't Matt Boldy's only memorable moment in Lake Tahoe. During the second round, the Minnesota Wild forward found his ball deep inside the grandstands at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. Instead of taking a drop, he decided to play it where it lay. It turned out to be the right call. Boldy's shot cleared the railing, landed on the green and nearly dropped for a blind chip-in.
NHL.com's Dan O'Leary summed up the moment by writing that it looked like something "more out of Happy Gilmore or Tin Cup than the American Century Championship."
By the end of Saturday's second round, he was tied for 13th place with actor Alfonso Ribeiro on 27 points.
Only defending champion Joe Pavelski sat higher on the leaderboard in second place with 48 points. Matthew Tkachuk was tied for 22nd on 22 points, TJ Oshie shared 25th place with 20 points, while Brady Tkachuk was tied for 55th alongside NFL Hall of Famer Charles Woodson on minus-7 after two rounds.
