Samantha Ruth Prabhu believes that feeling healthier does not always require spending hours at the gym or following an intense fitness routine. The actor, who is currently expecting her first child, recently shared the simple morning habits that have helped her feel better physically and mentally. According to Samantha, these small daily practices have become a part of her life after years of experimenting with different routines, and she now encourages others to give them a try for 21 days.

The actor, who recently celebrated a private baby shower with husband Raj Nidimoru, earlier posted a video on social media explaining what she calls her "power morning." She said that she had tried several morning routines over the years before arriving at a formula that works best for her. Samantha also suggested that people who are struggling with issues such as stubborn belly fat, puffiness or skin problems may benefit from paying closer attention to how they begin their day.

Samantha began by explaining why mornings are so important. She said she has always believed that the way a person starts the day often influences everything that follows. After trying multiple routines over the years, she eventually settled on a few simple habits that she says have helped her tremendously.

According to the actor, stress hormones are naturally high when people wake up. She explained that immediately checking phones, emails, work messages or the news only increases stress levels. Instead of reaching for a screen, Samantha recommends staying away from the phone for the first hour after waking up.

She also spoke about the importance of mindful breathing. Samantha advised spending five minutes in silence while practising slow, intentional breathing. She explained that this helps activate the vagus nerve, signalling to the brain that the body is safe and relaxed. According to her, a calmer brain functions better than one constantly under stress.

Another important step in her routine is getting sunlight on the face within the first 10 minutes of waking up. She also includes what she describes as a simple morning elixir before moving on with the rest of her day.

Nutrition, movement and a clear goal for the day

Food also plays an important role in Samantha's routine. She recommends eating a balanced breakfast that helps keep blood sugar levels stable, reducing the urge to snack on sugary foods later in the day.

Movement is another habit she follows, although she clarified that it does not mean spending hours doing intense workouts. Samantha simply advises moving the body before 11 am, making physical activity a regular part of the morning.

She also suggested delaying coffee or tea until after breakfast instead of drinking it on an empty stomach.

The final habit in her routine is setting a clear intention for the day. Samantha encouraged people to decide on one task they want to accomplish, even if it is something small, and write it down. She explained that having a defined goal helps the brain stay focused rather than constantly chasing quick bursts of satisfaction throughout the day.

Samantha challenges fans to try it for 21 days

Samantha described these practices as habits that have personally helped her feel more balanced and energised. Rather than presenting them as a strict fitness programme, she encouraged her followers to treat them as small lifestyle changes that can gradually become part of everyday life.

She invited people to follow the routine consistently for 21 days to see whether it helps calm the nervous system and reduce inflammation. Sharing her personal experience, Samantha said these simple actions have made a noticeable difference in her own life and could be useful for anyone looking for a fresh start.

The actor also stressed that everyone's routine can be different. Meanwhile, on the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently made her comeback with Maa Inti Bangaaram and it crossed Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. Now, the movie is currently streaming on JioHotstar.
