ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai is not short on motivation as he goes through his martial arts journey. Foremost of which is his family, who he always strives to provide for.

The Thai superstar has been competing as a professional for nearly two decades now and has achieved quite a lot, making him one of the noted strikers in the game.

He has an overall record of 340-53, enhanced by the impressive run he has had to date in ONE Championship, compiling a 7-2 record since joining the promotion and concurrently holding the strawweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world titles at one point.

Speaking recently to the media, the 31-year-old Prajanchai, who is recovering from an injury, opened up about the journey he has had, including the motivations that have kept him going all this time.

Check out what he had to say below:

Prajanchai was last in action in October at ONE Fight Night 36 in a unification bout against interim strawweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Di Bella of Canada. He, however, bowed down by unanimous decision to lose the kickboxing gold.

As he continues to recuperate, Prajanchai will be closely following the outcome of the scheduled clash for the interim strawweight Muay Thai world title between Sam-A Gaiyanghadao and Aliff Sor Dechapan later this month.

The battle for the interim belt will take place at The Inner Circle 23 on July 24 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, with the winner having a shot at the reigning divisional king in a unification bout at some point after.

Sam-A is a former strawweight Muay Thai world champion, who is riding a three-fight winning streak. His opponent, Aliff, for his part, has been on a tear in his last five matches, willing himself as the primary challenger for the strawweight gold.

The Inner Circle 23 will take place ahead of ONE Friday Fights 163 and stream exclusively on live.onefc.com.
