Customs at the Kochi airport arrested a passenger with 5.88 kg of suspected hydroponic weed (hybrid ganja) worth ₹5.88 crore. Richy Antony of Kottappuram in Thrissur was arrested on his arrival from Bangkok.

The contraband was found hidden in the checked-in baggage of the passenger. He was produced before court and remanded in judicial custody.
