An old man was killed and nearly 10 passengers were injured when the bus in which they were travelling rammed into a tree on Wednesday.

The private bus, carrying nearly 30 passengers, was going from Rewari to Kosli.

The local residents and passers-by informed the police about the road accident.

The injured have been admitted at the government hospital at Kosli.

The body of the deceased, identified as Deep Chand, has been sent for a post-mortem examination.

The police have registered a case.
