    Netflix has revealed what subscribers watched the most between January and June 2026, with the streaming platform recording its biggest-ever first half of the year. According to the company's latest What We Watched report, viewers streamed more than 97 billion hours of content during the six-month period, highlighting strong demand for new originals, returning franchises, documentaries and international titles.

    ‘War Machine’ tops movies, ‘His & Hers’ dominates TV


    On the movie side, War Machine emerged as Netflix's biggest hit with 147 million views, followed by The Rip (136 million) and Swapped (131 million) taking the top spots.

    Among TV shows, His & Hers claimed the No. 1 spot with 104 million views, narrowly ahead of Bridgerton Season 4, which reached 100 million views.

    7. ONE PIECE Season 2 – 47 million

    10. The Night Agent Season 3 – 36 million

    International content keeps growing


    Netflix said more than one-third of all viewing came from non-English titles. South Korea continued to be one of the platform's strongest international markets with hits such as Teach You a Lesson and Can This Love Be Translated?.

    India recorded its highest-ever viewing for a six-month period, led by Dhurandhar, which became the most-watched non-English film in the report with 37 million views. Other Indian titles including Accused, Made in Korea, and Taskaree: The Smuggler's Web also featured prominently.

    Netflix added that beginning in 2027, it will replace its twice-yearly What We Watched reports with a single annual engagement report.
