The Delhi Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has distributed over 93% of voter enumeration forms under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with nearly 7.7% of the forms digitised so far, according to the cumulative status report released on Sunday.

    The report, updated till 8 pm on July 12, said 1,35,45,954 enumeration forms have been distributed, covering 93.35% of Delhi’s 1,45,10,298 registered electors. Of these, 11,15,950 forms, accounting for 7.69% of the electorate, have been digitised. The enumeration phase of the Special Intensive Revision is being carried out from June 30 to July 29.

    Among the districts, New Delhi recorded the highest distribution rate at 98.49%, followed by West (96.99%), South (96.45%), North East (96.41%) and Central North (95.94%). North West reported the lowest distribution at 83.79%, while Outer North stood at 88.15% and South East at 90.15%.

    In terms of digitisation, Outer North led with 17.75% of forms digitised, followed by South West (11.28%), Central North (9.66%), West (9.17%) and North (9.01%). East recorded the lowest digitisation rate at 4.43%, followed by Central and Old Delhi, both at 4.64%.

    The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer said the exercise was progressing across all 13 electoral districts as part of the revision process aimed at updating Delhi’s electoral rolls before the completion of the enumeration phase later this month.
