Palworld offers players the chance to be a farmer and farm crops throughout their time in this fantastic world. This is done via Plantations, which are focused on particular types of crops, and also require you to do have pals that can plant, water, and harvest the crops on a regular basis. You’ll also need some seeds to plant, which isn’t too hard to get as you start exploring the rich world around you.

If you want to know what the various seeds and plantations are in Palworld, when they’re unlocked, and what you use them for, we’re here to get you started in your base. Here’s everything about the various seeds and Plantations that you can unlock.

You’ll need a minimum of level 5 to start crop farming in Palworld. Below, we’ll go over every crop, when it unlocks, the resources needed, and what you can potentially use them for. One of the most important tips I recommend is go to No. 1 Wildlife Sanctuary and tame Vaelet. If you put it in your Ranch, it will periodically drop seeds, making farming so much easier.

The first crop farm you can unlock in Palworld is the Berry Plantation. It unlocks at level 5, so you won’t spend much time before you can actually get this. Berry Seeds can be found on Red Berry Bushes, as well as the Lifmunk and Gumoss Pals.

Red Berry Bushes are all over the place in the starting area, so it’s easy to stock up. One of the best uses for Berries are to feed your pals, but they’re also used in the basic Cake recipe. It’s the first and easiest crop to farm, and will give you valuable experience in setting up the others.

Unlocked at level 15 are Wheat Plantations, which let you grow Wheat in Palworld. You can purchase Wheat Seeds from the Wandering Merchant in the first settlement you come across, but you can also farm it off of defeated Dinossom, Cinnamon, Flopie, and likely other Grass-type pals as well.

Wheat is used in all manner of bread-based recipes, most notably the creation of Flour, used in the Mozzarina Hamburger. This is one of the best Base Pal recipes, so you’re going to want to make these as soon as possible.

Unlocked at level 21, Palworld players will be able to start doing some crop farming for Tomatoes! You can farm Tomato seeds from several types of Pals (Broncherry, Mossanda, Dinossom Lux, Valet, Wumpo Botan), as well as purchase from Wandering Merchants in the various settlements in-game. Tomatoes are used in Salads, some soups (Dumud Chowder), making it very useful.

Unlocked at level 25 comes the Salad-ingredient Lettuce in Palworld! You can buy Lettuce Seeds from Wandering Merchants, or you can beat up Bristla, Cinnamoth, and Broncherry Aqua, among others. It’s another item that’s used in Salads, as well as quite a few sandwiches. You can also use it in the valuable Grilled Lamball.

Next up in Palworld is the Potato and Potato Plantation, unlocked at level 28. You can find the Potato Seeds from Caravan Merchants and Wandering Merchants, as well as taking down pals like Flopie, Robinquill/Robinquill Terra, Broncherry/Broncherry Aqua or Ribbunny Botan.

The Potato is used in such a wide variety of recipes, making it a versatile and amazing crop to grow. It’s used in Stir-Fried Vegetables, French Fries, Gratin, Minestrone, Mammorest Curry, and many other things like the Nutrient Tonic.

Once you reach level 32 in Palworld, you can start growing Carrots in the Carrot Plantation. You can purchase the Carrot Seeds from Caravan Leaders, as well as by defeating Bristla, Dinossom, and Wumpo Botan.

It’s used in quite a few recipes, like Alluring/Deluxe Bait, Broncherry Fried Noodles, Galeclaw Nikujaga, Minestrone, and so many more. It’s a versatile, useful vegetable, whether you’re trying to lure out Pals, or cook for them.

Wrapping up the Palworld crop farming options, is level 36’s Onion and Onion Plantation. You’ll also find these on Caravan Merchants/Wandering Merchants throughout the later parts of the game.

You can also farm pals like Vaelet, Palumbra, and Broncherry/Broncherry Aqua to try and get some Onion Seeds. It’s used in many of the same recipes as Carrots are, and even in cakes like the Extravagant Vegetable Cake, one of the best breeding cakes in the 1.0 update.
