Shea Langeliers and his wife, Raegan, welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Owen, on May 3, 2026. 2 months after Owen's birth, the Athletics star and his wife took the baby to the pool for the first time. Raegan also shared an adorable image of the experience on social media.

On her Instagram story, Raegan uploaded an image of herself in a bikini along with Shea Langeliers and their son Owen. The couple posed before the camera while holding Owen in their arms. In the image caption, Raegan revealed whether her son enjoyed his first time in the pool.

While Shea Langeliers enjoyed this moment with his wife and kid last week, he suffered a left thumb contusion in a game against the Marlins on Friday. However, after missing games on Saturday and Sunday, Langeliers returned to the Athletics lineup for the game against the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday.

Langeliers' return game post-injury ended in a 6-2 defeat to the Tigers. Langeliers went 1-for-3 with an RBI single against the Tigers, with his lone hit coming off Drew Anderson in the seventh inning.

After the birth of his son, Owen, on May 3rd, Shea Langeliers celebrated the occasion by hitting a brilliant two-run homer against the Phillies. Langeliers also honored his wife by speaking highly of her active lifestyle after the game.

Langeliers revealed that Raegan is a "workout junkie" and the healthiest person he knows. The Athletics star said:
