Fresh off the thrilling action at the 2026 Wimbledon Championships, Mirra Andreeva and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova were seen joining the celebrations of Daria Kasatkina's engagement to her fiancée and former Russian Olympic figure skater Natalia Zabiiako.

Kasatkina made her relationship with Zabiiako public in July 2022. In March 2025, she switched her sporting allegiance from Russia to Australia, citing that she did not feel safe staying there while being a gay person who opposed the war. In June 2025, she celebrated her 28th birthday and proposed to Zabiiako.

As the wedding festivities began in Greece, Andreeva and Pavlyuchenkova attended the wedding rehearsal dinner. Also in attendance were Russian WTA stars Kamilla Rakhimova (now shifted to play for Uzbekistan) and Arina Rodionova (now playing for Australia).

As soon as they ran into each other during the wedding, Pavlyuchenkova shared a selfie on her Instagram story and wrote:

She further shared a picture from the cocktail hour, where Andreeva was seen wearing a black dress while the couple opted for a black-and-white ensemble. She captioned the picture:

Andreeva and Pavlyuchenkova were seen having fun till late at night.

Andreeva's run at Wimbledon came to an end after her second-round exit.

Although Mirra Andreeva made an early exit at the Wimbledon Championships, she enjoyed an impressive season by winning the Roland Garros title at only 19 years of age. She saw off Maja Chwalinska 6-3, 6-2 in the final. In the on-court interview, Andreeva paid gratitude to herself.

She highlighted the efforts she took and the setbacks she faced to win one of the Majors. Andreeva also mentioned the anxiety she had been dealing with ahead of the tournament.

The French Open victory marked Mirra Andreeva's first Grand Slam win.
