Day 1 of the PUBG Mobile Rivals Cup 2026 was held on July 11, 2026, with 16 teams from South Korea and Japan playing six matches each. Eight squads from each of these countries are fighting in this two-day event for one spot in the Esports World Cup (PMWC) 2026. A total of 12 matches will be played in the Rivals Cup.

FN Sejong from South Korea grabbed first place in the overall standings with 83 points after its top-notch performances on Day 1. The team claimed two Chicken Dinners and 57 eliminations. OSAL and Crazy from the squad clinched 16 and 13 eliminations, respectively.

KINOTROPE ranked second with 72 points and two Chicken Dinners after playing impressively. The team secured 39 eliminations in six games. Ozisan, a memeber of this squad, took 12 eliminations. Popular South Korean club Dplus KIA saw a decent start to Rivals Cup 2026, coming third with 51 points and one Chicken Dinner on Day 1.

Here is the overall leaderboard after the first six matches:

DRX had an average run on Day 1 of the PUBG Mobile Rivals Cup and ended up in fourth place with 45 points and 35 eliminations. Making The Road came fifth with 39 points. REIGNITE was sixth with 38 points and one Chicken Dinner.

Chungnam CNJ Esports held the seventh spot with 38 points, including 30 kills. Popular Japanese squad REJECT had a mediocre run and ended up in the eighth position with 35 points. This team will aim to do better in the last six matches of the Rivals Cup on July 12 and secure a spot in the PMWC 2026.

Suwon and Jecheon were ninth and 10th with 33 and 32 points, respectively. Daejeon scored 25, while GyeongBuk acquired 23. Team HAO, who had a great run in the PUBG Mobile Japan League Phase 1, stumbled on Day 1 and ranked 13th with 20 points.

Versus came 14th with 17 points, including 12 eliminations. At the end of Day 1, Maple and AEONIAN were the bottom two teams with 13 and 11 points, respectively. These squads will look to improve their gameplay on Day 2 of the PUBG Mobile Rivals Cup 2026.
