Kaka met activist Sonam Wangchuk and enquired about his health before interacting with CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and people gathered at the protest site. His visit came a day after the agitation witnessed a controversy over the removal of a social media post related to arrangements for the protesters. On Thursday, Dipke alleged that a video showing him requesting Delhi Police personnel to allow tents at the protest site had been blocked in India. Sharing a screenshot of the removed post on X, he wrote, “This video has been blocked by the Govt in India.”

Questioning the action, Dipke said, “What was objectionable in this video? I was just pleading to the police to allow us set up tents for rain.”

He also shared a screenshot of an earlier post in which he could be seen at the feet of a police official while requesting permission for temporary shelters. The caption of the now unavailable post read: “I request the police authorities to please let us set up tents so that the students who are on hunger strike can be protected from rain.”

Another screenshot shared by Dipke displayed the message: “Due to local regulations, this content is restricted on X.”

Maintaining his stand, Dipke reposted the video on X and wrote, “Posting the video again because the Govt blocked it in India.”

The development also drew a reaction from CJP national spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka, who said, “The video of Dipke requesting the Delhi Police for Tirpals has now been taken off the social media. Had such promptness been applied to stop paper leaks, we would have not been sitting at Jantar Mantar in the first place.”

Friday's events added another political dimension to the ongoing protest, with Kaka's visit bringing public attention back to the demonstration even as organisers continued to press for support for the students participating in the hunger strike.
