A top AEW star discussed his absence from All Elite Wrestling. Former TNT Champion Sammy Guevara hasn't been seen on AEW TV for over a month. The last time he wrestled on Dynamite was in January 2026. Once upon a time, he was one of the four pillars of the company.
Not only was the former TNT Champion part of the first Dynamite episode, but he also wrestled in the very first match of Dynamite against Cody Rhodes. He recently described his experience of being part of history.
While speaking on MuscleManMalcolm, Sammy Guevara said that he was happy to perform on such a major stage, as he wasn't a popular figure back in 2019.
When asked about his All Elite Wrestling absence, the Spanish God sarcastically told the interviewer to ask Tony Khan to book him.
Last month, the former TNT Champion wrestled in CMLL. After wrestling in Mexico for a month, he thanked fans on X for taking part in his tour.
It will be interesting to see what is next for the Spanish God.
