However, Rick is unable to rescue them after smoking the alien drug "High Forever." Beth and Jerry are also intoxicated while searching for a cure on another planet. Meanwhile, local residents capture Morty, Summer, and the other campers to demand ransom from their wealthy families.

With no one coming to save them, Morty and Summer organize the campers and lead their own escape. Their success comes from their decisions rather than Rick's inventions or intervention.
