Three youths riding a two wheeler were allegedly assaulted by passengers of a car in a suspected road rage incident at Thrikkakara on Sunday (July 26, 2026).

The attack was reportedly triggered after the two-wheeler rider failed to give way to the car near the NGO Quarters roundabout. The youths who were in the car are absconding, and the Thrikkakara police have launched a search for them. One of the victims suffered a fractured jaw and lost a tooth, while another sustained a fractured skull and internal bleeding. The third youth sustained injuries to his nose and lips. The police are probing the attack based on CCTV footage.
