Rohit Sharma received a standing ovation in possibly his final international innings for India against England at Lord’s on July 20.

Rohit scored a blazing 138 from 110 balls with 17 fours and five sixes. His innings finally came to an end when he was bowled by Jacob Bethell in the 39th over.

Rohit was visibly drained as he walked back to the dressing room, and received a standing ovation from the crowd. He was given a handshake and applause from his batting partner Virat Kohli and his replacement Ishan Kishan.

The Indian team management including head coach Gautam Gambhir was also seen standing on the Lord’s balcony as he returned to the dugout.
