On Tuesday, Colin Cowherd made an interesting comparison between Lamar Jackson and Bo Nix. On "The Herd" show, he questioned the Baltimore Ravens star's ability to come in clutch during critical moments on the gridiron.
Cowherd said that he would Nix over Jackson to turn the tide late in a game.
NFL analyst Jarrett Bailey took a jab at Cowherd for his comments. He shared the post on X and claimed that Broncos coach Sean Payton and retired franchise legend John Elway would prefer Jackson over Bo Nix if the opportunity presented itself.

Last year, Jackson was ranked as the second-best player in the NFL Top 100 list. However, this year, the quarterback saw a drastic fall all the way to No. 69.
On the other hand, Bo Nix has been impressive so far in his two seasons with the Denver Broncos. During his debut campaign in 2024, he helped the team make it to the wild-card round of the playoffs, where they were eliminated by the Bills.
Last season, Nix and the Broncos competed for the conference championship as the AFC West champions. However, the quarterback missed this contest after suffering a broken ankle in the divisional round game against the Bills. The Broncos lost 7-10 to the Patriots with Jarrett Stidham as the replacement.
Retired NFL running back LeSean McCoy did not agree with Colin Cowherd's take on Lamar Jackson.
On Tuesday's episode of "Speakeasy," the two-time Super Bowl champion defended the Ravens quarterback amid all the criticism.
