Dianna Russini's purported affair with Mike Vrabel apparently involved more than holding his hands multiple times.

Around a month ago, San Francisco 49ers insider Tony Farmer revisited a 2025 segment by the then-reporter for The Athletic discussing the New York Jets' head coach hiring process. There, he wondered whether she had been the eventual New England Patriots' source for the following "report":

Later that same month, the New York Times alleged that Russini had been Vrabel's "unofficial advisor" during his job search. Farmer had a belated reaction to it on Tuesday:

There has been plenty of condemnation towards Dianna Russini for her affair with Mike Vrabel, both before and after her resignation. Nevertheless, she has had her fair share of friends who will defend her, including Dan Le Batard.
