Shedeur Sanders is NFL legend Deion Sanders' youngest son. He's fresh off his rookie season in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns.

Deion Sanders took to Instagram on Saturday and posted a picture with his grandson, Snow. The picture shows the Pro Football Hall of Famer catching some rest while Snow snoozed away in his lap.

Shedeur Sanders took to the comment section and tagged Shilo and his Deion Sanders Jr.

Shilo replied with his trademark quick wit.

Deion Sanders spotted the interaction and posted a screenshot of his sons' comments.

Deion Sanders has five children and one grandchild. His first daughter, Deiondra Sanders, had Snow with R&B singer Jacquees on Aug. 9, 2024. Coach Prime and Snow happen to be birthday mates, albeit being born 57 years apart.

The rest of the Sanders children are yet to have children. Deion Jr. is building a media empire; Shilo seems to remain hopeful of having a professional football career; Shedeur stars for the Cleveland Browns, and Shelomi Sanders plays basketball for the Colorado State University Pueblo ThunderWolves.

Shedeur Sanders started his NFL career as the fourth-string quarterback on the Cleveland Browns roster. It took him 11 game weeks to make his NFL debut, but he took the opportunity and did not look back.

Sanders finished his rookie season with a stat line of 1,400 passing yards, seven passing touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in eight games (seven starts). He showed flashes of his ability and featured in the 2026 Pro Bowl as a replacement for Drake Maye.

Sanders is now in a two-way battle for the Cleveland Browns starting quarterback job with Deshaun Watson. Watson is a former perennial Pro Bowler who hasn't played since suffering an Achilles injury in the 2024 season. He's now looking to prove that there's still enough in the tank to contribute to a potential playoff push in the upcoming campaign.

Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon believes that Shedeur Sanders has the upper hand in the QB1 battle.

The Browns have preseason games against the Chicago Bears, Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots lined up. Expect Todd Monken to name his Week 1 starting quarterback in due time.
